As the lead designer for this project I was tased with created a striking visual with a limited budget. The artist here wanted to communicate the idea that life is double edged, and that ugliness is required in order to appreciate the beauty of life. The result, was a logotype which is very sharp and striking on first glance. However, this metallic feel, juxtaposed with the softness of the background creates a tension which strikes the viewer and encourages curiosity.
As part of this campaign, I was responsible for designing the logo and merchandise, as well as planning, executing and project managing the campaign. The result was a 6 week campaign carried out across various social media networks, resulting in 3 interviews on BBC radio, and playlist spots on Spotify’s editorial playlists.
